Ever since its starting time punk has been driven by DIY, creativity and youth. It's a subculture within alternative culture that extents past music and bleeds into your own life.
Punk music often is used to spread awareness, dissapointment or sheer anger about the current climate of our world. These messages are often true for years to come rendering punk timeless and tragically so in some aspects.
The current daySome believe punk died in the 90s and some believe it never existed but as long as there's crap things and angry kids punk lives on through music, fashion, the internet and the beating hearts of pissed off kids waiting for change who are willing to go against the grain and fight for the life they way
In addition punk music is still being produced up to this day-some with a different sound some with the a similar sound but it's alive because of the punk movement and the emotions of the youth of today. Check out the music tab which includes some modern day punk bands!
To say punk is dead is to accept defeat and to not pay attention to the scene kids these days aren't lazy just different
